To pin a program to the taskbar (Ex : Windows Explorer)

Do one of the following:

If the program is already running, right-click the program button on the taskbar (or drag the button to the desktop) to access the taskbar, and then click Pin this program to the taskbar.

If the program is not running, click Start, locate the program icon, right-click the program, and then click Pin to taskbar.

For example, pinning Windows Explorer to the taskbar.

1. Open Windows Explorer by clicking on the Start and This PC.

2. right-click on the icon that opened in the taskbar and click on Pin to taskbar.

3. The Windows Explorer icon is now on your taskbar.
